Frequently asked questions

Does Stanford publish snap counts?

No. College programs do not release snap counts, and no public source tracks them for every player. Paid services chart some games. This page shows the closest public measure: each player's share of Stanford's offensive plays.

What is share of plays?

The share of the team's offensive plays on which a player threw the ball, ran it or was targeted. Unlike a snap count, it leaves out plays where the player was on the field without the ball, so blockers and defenders are not included.

Who is Stanford's lead running back?

Micah Ford is involved in 29.2% of Stanford's plays and 57.3% of its runs this season.

Who is Stanford's most targeted pass catcher?

Caden High (WR) is involved in 17.3% of Stanford's pass plays, the most of any receiver or tight end.
